The LSGRA is proud to present Rip & Marsha Naquin as the first and new royalty for LSGRA! The association could have not made a better selection for this appointment due to the incredible amount of work and charitable activities of these two fine outstanding Individuals!
Rip and Marsha were charter members of the association and dedication and interest in the evolving of this organization is unblemished. They have assured the association that they are aware of their responsibilities to the organization and are looking forward to doing their part to meet the goals of the rodeo association! Congratulations to Ms. LSGRA (Marsha Naquin) and to Mr. LSGRA (Rip Naquin) ...and a toast to a great reign in 2008!
The association is looking forward to working with our new royalty in the coming year for a cause that will have a huge economic impact for the Gay community here in New Orleans and across the state as well as local charities! A tip of the hat and good luck to Rip and Marsha!
Our Royalty, in conjunction with Mr. Jim Bridger and the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad, sponsored the LSGRA Train Excursion on June 22, 2008. We wish to thank them for their generosity as well as their guests onboard the Louisiana Pullman. This event raised $3555 ! The proceeds of this event will be used to help defray the costs of hosting the 24th. Annual IGRA Convention and 2009 Royalty Competition which will be held here in New Orleans in October. The LSGRA Board of Directors and Membership would like to thank Rip and Marsha, Mr. and Miss LSGRA, for all the work they have accomplished and the money they raised with this event !
